Merlin 160 MK2
Ok, my frustration your gain. I don't know what up with this motor. It is a propane start Merlin 160 MK2 which is ok with diesel.
I got it from my buddy who had it in s supper scorpion, I used it in my Sunshine ME163 for no issues around 15 flights. Pulled everything out to paint, after reinstalling it had a propane fire, (ie big proof of propain lighting at once) this chard the wires a little. started flew it no issues. Then next time at the feild. Nothing the hand held was blank. Could not find problem, buddy gave me a jetcentral xicoy box, and it worked great on stand, took to buddy's house trying to adjust starting to have no blue flame for 2 sec on changeover. Got it tuned great, last start the fuel pump burnt up. Just got new $160 fuel pump from Xicoy today, motor started great with the little flame now back, after 4 start on test stand its acting odd.
Im done, my buddy told me to order a $180 modern xicoy confershion kit But I'm done
Motor IS great but I'm done. All sold as is.
New fuel pump is ok
Will come with all 3 ecu, wires, fittings needed
