Yes. Everything works as it should. I was using this radio up until last week when I got the programming transferred to the 18mz and the new radio was bound to my airplanes. Only "problem" is the display is not daylight readable. I did all my programming at home at night, and emergency changes were done in deep shade at the field. This is normal for this radio. (I think they limited the contrast ratio to conserve battery power.) This is a great radio, it's very versatile and has tons of programming power!

Thank you for your reply, can you please, if possible send me more pictures of the screen turning on...
I am not sure of what you said difficult to read in daylight meaning .not bright enough right?
