VK Proctor Fokker DR1 Triplane
l/6 exact scale VK Proctor Fokker DR I Triplane converted to electric.
Has a .60 electric motor and a 100 amp ESC Castle Creation controller with the use of a 4-cell Lipo battery.
The model is covered with red Solartex fabric and Cali Graphics.
The dummy cylinders and machine guns are from Williams Bros.
The scale pilot is from Ace of Irons. Servos are all Hitec and receiver is Spectrum
6-channel.
Wingspan is 47 inches and weight is 5 1/2 lbs.
The plane flies with authority with its .60 motor most of the time at half throttle.
The only modification from exact scale was to move the landing gear forward to prevent nose over when flying off grass fields. Can easily be moved back to the original scale position if wanted.
