Yes, you can resubmit your ad. Mark the offer as Transaction Incomplete, then be sure your ad is reactivated.

How do I make my offers private? I made a couple of offers and they are shown and I want to change it. I can not find any tab to change or set this preference.

To make a private offer, click on the No option next to "Show Your Offer Amount in Public Offer History"

This option is on the offer review/confirmation page.

Hello,
I've tried to submit an offer on a tach and volt meter from Duck 1 twice and have been seemingly unsuccessful. I want to stick by my bid ( we have already agreed on this price ) but the 'system' seems like it won't accept my bid for $25.
I still want the merchandise but I don't think I should keep entering bids without acknowledgement of receipt from the system. What should I do ?

I need to get in and edit my items. The ad recovery window keeps coming up. I need help to get in and lower my pricing so I can sell my items. My computer is down and I have been using a friends. I am signing in correctly and can't do a thing with any of my ads but respond to offers. I need help or a phone number to talk to someone. Robert

CAPT. DAN,
What happens when you try to post an offer? Do you get an error? If so, what does it say?

robster1,
Our developers are aware of this problem and are working to correct it per the following thread - http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_10619135/tm.htm

You cannot delete archived ads. Archiving allows you to review them and thier activity at a later date should the need arise.

How long do you keep a record of transactions? When I do a search after checking "all transactions" I get a very poor response that I know does not cover all recent transactions. For instance, I bought a Mark 135 engine on September 11, 2011 and in a search it did not even come up. Are you deleting transaction activity after only a month to save storage costs?
Thanks,
Andrew

RCUniverse does not delete ads or transactions for either buyers or sellers. Try looking in the Archived Offers list.

My question relates to using the Advance Search function to see at what price prior sales of a particular item took place. It appears that only the sales for the prior month are available. How do I find a listing of sales of a particular item for say, the prior twelve months? For example, I want to see the transactions for all Moki or Mark engines for the last twelve months or even better, the last five years. How do I access that information? Please do a search and you will understand what I mean. I don't mean just my transactions, I mean all transactions by everyone for as far back as you have data.
Thanks,
Andrew

Only ads that were listed as Sold or Expired within the past 30 days can be found through the search tools.

Perhaps you will find the information you are looking for by using the RCU Book feature? Here is an example of the RCU Book for the Moke 2.10 glow engine: http://www.rcuniverse.com/product_gu...?engine_id=229

OK, I understand. This must be a recent limitation. I was able to get rich historical data for transactions using the search function not that long ago. In order to use the book information, I would need to find the particular item listed for sale within the last month. If the last transaction took place more than a month ago, I am out of luck as things stand now. It sure would be useful to access transaction data for prior periods using the search function. In the forums, I can find information written years ago using the search function.
Thanks,
Andrew

Since the site has been in its current format, which has been 5+ years, we have stripped descriptions and photos from ads over 9 months old in order to manage storage space on our servers. As for searching for older ads, we have only provided a means to do that on ads less than 30 days since being closed.

The forums are entirely separate from the marketplace.

I made a mistake by editing one of my archived ads rather than cloning it and paid for the PowerPak. The ad doesn't appear to the general users, but is still in my archived ads. What must I do to "Unarchive" the ad and not have to pay for the PowerPak again. Ad #733609

Once an ad is archived, it cannot be unarchived.

I have credited your account for the enhancement fee.

hello my screen name is tonyraptor05 i just had a listing deactivaed by due to a flaging by **********. now im sorry as i can be that the fella is upset that i dont want to trade for his slash that he doesnt even have listed but thats no reason to flag my ad and get it deactivated. the truck is very much so a brushless e revo. just because the body has been replaced and the original motor and esc as well does not mean it isnt a e revo brushless edition. i will not change my listing as i am not lying about what it is. i feel it isnt right what he has done just because i prefer not to do an even swap with him for his 300 dollar truck when mine is worth way more. please reinstate my ad asap.
thank u in advance derek canter(tonyraptor05
