Default Ada, Ads, Ads! No spell checker? Membership?

Way too often when I click on a post it comes up with a full page ad, and I have to go back and re-click the link. I realize that bandwidth costs, but the ads seem excessive.

What happened to the spell checker?

Membership? I just want to interact with other users, asking for help and offering my help when I can.

I find the new forum clumsy. Things like email notification, automatic log-on, were automatic before.

I agree with the adds, this sites turning into a rolling infomercial... Also the load times are sometimes painfull on the old 56k modem. It looks good but its a struggle. oh well back to the posting.

How often you see a full page ad can be set in your forum preferences.

I heard Spell Checker will be coming back shortly (I can't wait either!)

Forum posting is still free.

I find the forum just as easy to get around in as the old one, in fact, there's even more options and ways to look at it.

My auto-logon and email notificaion work just fine. You might try the "Delete All Cookies" option at the top of the forum listing.

You may click "My Account" at the top of the page and adjust ad frequency.

Membership to RCU is FREE

The forums are designed the same as previously so navigation should feel similar. Some of the features you miss were custom to RCU and will become available in the near future.

Have you played around with "My Forums" yet? Click the circular yellow My Forums icon near the top of the page. A customized RCU is at your disposal if you decide that's how you want to view it. Subscribed forums, threads, email notification, are all available to you for FREE.

The spell check module is in place, and will come online soon.

Take a bit of time to kick the tires here and I think you'll find you enjoy this RCU every bit as much (if not more) than what was RCU. Let me know if you need any help with anything and I'll do what I can to answer your questions and get you comfortable with your new RCU.
