Now for something totally different. Has anyone observed favoritisms for some posters or mods? It seems to me that there seems to be a hallo effect for some, but maybe it is just me. Thoughts anyone.

Okay, this is starting to remind me of the dialog in the movie "Airplane":
[/b]

Simon: Gentlemen, I'd like you to meet your captain, Captain Oveur.
Clarence Oveur: Gentlemen, welcome aboard.
Simon: Captain, your navigator, Mr. Unger, and your first officer, Mr. Dunn.
Clarence Oveur: Unger.
Unger: Oveur.
Dunn: Oveur.
Clarence Oveur: Dunn. Gentlemen, let's get to work.
Simon: Unger, didn't you serve under Oveur in the Air Force?
Unger: Not directly. Technically, Dunn was under Oveur and I was under Dunn.
Dunn: Yep.
Simon: So, Dunn, you were under Oveur and over Unger.
Dunn: Yep.
Clarence Oveur: That's right. Dunn was over Unger and I was over Dunn.
Unger: So, you see, both Dunn and I were under Oveur, even though I was under Dunn.
Clarence Oveur: Dunn was over Unger, and I was over Dunn.

LOL this is what the score function is for. Well done

For an answer to the original question...can you be more specific? Do you mean certain mods are chopping threads and leaving other ones alone that should be cut?
I for one think they do a good job (with the exception of deleting posts that talk bad about RCU...that seems like communism to me). I dont think it's the mods that do that.

Overall, when I read a thread, I can tell right away that it wont last long. It either has to do with RC or not, cut and dry.

Yes, got it from [link]http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/6741/funny_quotes.html[/link]. I can only remember a few famous lines from "Risky Business" and "Silence of the lamb".

Thanks guys, for the scores.

Do You mean

If you're name is not part of the Click

If you're post number exceeds The speed of a F-4J

If You try to keep to the rules, and post accordingly

Or Due You mean

That one guy can say stuff thats COOL' and another tries it and it gest 86'd

That its not an even playing field, theres a swamp out there for some

Or is this just an attemp to draw attention away from RC, and OVOID the Problems/Questions Forum.

It all depends on the Slippery Slope and the Coefficiant of Friction at the time, and if it has possibilities of being useful information or a mear Humorous thread to keep around.

think it depends on if the mod who views your post woke up with a smile on his face or no

also if any little whiner decides to click the report button insted of deciding, well, this thread isn't for me

interesting my "score" is still zero either i don't p*$$ people off or they just don't give a hoot about me LOL

most posts get removed for improper language or just plain trashing another user. some for their avatars also.you can't imagine how many posts/post reports we go thru daily and some pm rants we get also. we get alot of good responses too though from some.... quite an exp. trying to be fair with all the people here. any1 can apply to be a mod here also if ya have any free time...[8D]

is that what awaiting approval is about? posts with certian words need to be checked and approved before they go up?

Seems to me when one has had a question the thread is getting hijacked by Mods getting their back up against a poster who has crossed the perceived line, and instead of deleating the offender's post and getting on with answering the question, the whole thread will be closed.
