To many emails per thread

To many emails per thread
I have searched and haven't seen anyone else post this, so here goes:
With the old RCU, if numerous replies were posted to a thread I was subscribed to, I only recieved ONE email, but now I recieve an email for every reply. Sometimes the threads I am subscribed to are hot topics and it is VERY, VERY annoying recieving 10 emails per hour for one thread.
I don't want to turn the notification off, just please limit it so only one email is sent until the next time I log on (like before)

RE: To many emails per thread
that will be introduced in the next week or two. we are aware of this design on this forum which we don't like either so the old behavioiur will be written back in to receive a single email as before.
