How do I load my avitar?

click settings button top right.

scroll down to upload avatar. upload your avatar from your drive. must be 7k or less in filesize and under 75x75 pixels. when done uploading you click ok on success window and then click the OK button on the main settings page for it to all take effect

I am unable to upload my avatar in any size. I get the error message 'file too large'
My avatar in Photoshop shows 6.83K at 53x44 pixels.

What am I doing incorrectly?

what browser are you using? also are you saving it as jpg format?

Browser is Internet Explorer and saving image as a .jpg file for the avatar.
I have it on my server at the following size as well





If I forward the image to you can you 'fix' it or provide instructions here for me to do so?

Thanks for the help. Avatar uploaded just fine, although I am still not sure what settings in Photoshop I did incorrectly that MY image would not upload.
The 'Select a file to upload' screen says the paramaters should be 85x85 Max. 7KB, but the image you fixed for me shows 75x62 at 13.6K, and uploaded just fine...[:-]

On the Image Size display that you posted earlier, it says that the size of the image is 108x89. I suspect that that was the cause of the problem. You might try reducing it to 85x70 and see if that works. The reason that I went to 75 pixel width is tha Marc had stated in an earlier post that the maximum size was 75x75.

I am having the same problem. have resized it several times now. all smaller that 75X75 @ 6.85k Keeps coming up "file to large"
