Default Invoices and replys not being sent/received

Hey guys,

I recently had an item for sale. I was given an offer, which I happened to notice when I checked my ad although nothing had come to me via my e-mail. I accepted the offer and sent the buyer an RCU invoice. After a day or so with no response I emailed the buyer and he told me he had never received the RCU invoice.

In the meantime, a day later I received in my e-mail the buyers offer.

So today I get an e-mail from the buyer telling me why have I not acknowledged payment and I had to tell him I have not received anything from RCU about payment being sent.

Just thought you guys should know there is some sort of snag in the system.

Very occasionally, one of the email servers will backlog under heavy load and it can take a while for it to clear. Rarely, it requires someone to notice the problem and reboot the system. That would explain the slow email notifications.

As for not receiving emails at all, this is usually caused by spam filters on the recipients computer or their ISP. Also, RCU does not send notices stating payment has been sent. That type of communication would have to be sent by the buyer to the seller.
