Default How Long before an Offer Expires?

Sorry about newbie questions.
If i make an offer, How long before it expires? or does it expire when the listing expires?

Also Lets say i make an offer on an item and i never hear from the seller "never rejects or Accepts" ... is it OK to cancel my offer or it's not the right thing to do here. thank you

Default RE: How Long before an Offer Expires?

Offers are active for as long as the ad is active.

The buyer can withdraw their offer at any time so long as it has not been formally accepted by the seller. There is no time restriction on buyers who wish to do this. They can withdraw their offer immediately after posting it, or anytime afterwards so long as it has not been accepted by the seller. Once the offer is accepted, both parties are obligate to complete the transaction unless they both agree to cancle it.
