Also getting booted out marks all forums as being read.
Ive about reached the limit of what I am willing to put up with to participate in RCU.
The lame "Close and Refresh" popup windows have gotta go, gentlemen!
My Popup Stopper does not have the option of allowing certain sites to pass thru.
Holding down the control key will allow the stupid close and refresh windows to come up, but unless I make up a cheat sheet to remind myself when to hold it down and not to hold it down, I cant keep track of just which button is gonna get me booted. Also, holding down the control button seems to cut and paste the entire row of buttons into my replies.
I pooh poohed all the naysayers about the changes to RCU but I gotta say, I dont see where ANY of this is an improvement over the old format.

I am about to bail on RCU.

I suggest a new popup stopper or turning it off when you view RCU. IT is obviously buggy and not compatible with standard javascript code.

I also have a pop-up stopper, but I don't get booted. Maybe because I have a broadband modem? Fubar-One, do you have dial-up or broadband?

I remain online, I am just being logged out of RCU.
The "New and Improved" RCU is the only site I have ever run into that does this. Any other site will activate the popup stopper, the window shuts down along with the notification sound, I hold the Ctrl key down, click again and Im fine.
RCU pops up that Java script error (gee, another popup window) and I am logged out. Really stinks when this happens after typing a long reply to something!

Hmmm...that just seems weird to me...nothing happens for me, I have a pop-up stopper and a lot of things you have. I am using Windows XP, what about you? (Although it probably doesn't matter...)

we already know that a poorly written popup stopper will choke on standard javascript which is what we use here. get rid of your popup stopper and use a better one and problems go away.
