UnSub AllThread problem
When selecting the link to unsubscribe to all threads (from an email notification of having received a response to a post), the response screen goes into an infinite loop. It presents the standard "If you don't want to wait . . ." screen, but then replays it over and over again.

UnSub AllThread problem
try another browser to see if it's browser related...I have not heard of this issue ever before and no changes have been made to that routine in 6 months.

Problem is repeatable
The problem is repeatable. I'm using Microsoft Internet Explorer v6.0.2800.1106CO.
Email sent to my MSN.com account contains the following link to unsubscribe from all threads: http://www.rcuniverse.com/member2.ph...type=allthread I suspect the problem is related to Microsoft's grabbing the URL and forwarding it through their activity sniffers. Try sending the above url to a hotmail or msn account number to repeat the process. By the way, clicking directly on the URL as displayed in this post works just fine. The problem is when clicking the link while viewing the MSN email through an internet browser. Pretty esoteric, I realize, but it is still presents a problem. The only way out of the loop is to cancel the instance of the browser. |
UnSub AllThread problem
Certainly bizarre...will have to look into it to see what's up.
