Missing AD?
 

Why would an AD suddenly be missing from the classifieds if an offer was accepted and why would it not be located when using the reference number and or not show up in the "sold" area?

Ads that expire without the seller accepting an offer are not considered Sold. This would prevent them from being displayed in the Sold items search.

If you made an offer on the item, you will be able to find a link to it on the My Offers page of the My Market area of the marketplace.

Offer was accepted and $ sent but then when i plugged in the reference number there was no record of the AD thus the concern?

Looks like maybe he did not complete the step of officially accepting even though he wanted feedback????? The offer does not show up in the area you you suggested to look...oh well???????

I am looking at your offer history and the system does not show that you have made an offer using the Make Offer tool since 2005. This is why the ad is not listed in the My Offers page.

This can only mean you made your offer with the Ask Seller A Question tool. When you do this, there is no offer recorded in the system and feedback cannot be posted for either buyer or seller.

Please be sure to use the Make Offer tool when you make an offer in the marketplace.

I did use the make offer section after using the ask question area.....so what i'm saying is that perhaps the step required on the other end was not completed.....anyway thanks for the reply....i've canceled payment!

Again, I'm looking at your offer history. You have not posted an offer using the Make Offer form in some time. If you had, it would show up under the My Offers page in the My Market area of the marketplace. You posted your offer using the Ask Seller A Question tool. The seller did not influence this. There is nothing for them to do on their end that can change this.
