Scammer?
 

I have made a purchase from a new seller (xxxxxxxxxxxx), and he has a 0 rating and insists on postal money order, no pay pal. Can anyone tell me if this person has any complaints or scams filed against him. It just seems a bit questionable to me. I am not trying to bash or scar anyones rep, just being cautious.

Please understand that it is not appropriate to post another members name in the forums for matters such as this. Like you, we do not want to tarnish someone's reputation unjustly.

As you have noted, the seller has no ratings. If there were any complaints filed against them, there would be a flag alerting you as such in their ads. This seller does not have any such flags.

You must always take necessary precautions to protect yourself when dealing with an unknown private party over the internet. To this you may want to consider offering the seller the option of using Escrow.com to manage the transaction. If they do not want to this, then you must decide whether you trust the seller enough to send them an unsecured form of payment, or request that they allow you to back out of the transaction even though they have already accepted your offer to purchase the item.
