RCU Forums - Balancer ???

I am new to electric and lipos. I also am very fussy with the way I take care of my stuff and like to do things the right way. My question is I am upgrading from a Brain 977 to a Brain 989 in preparation for my E Revo and Lipos. Do I need a balancer for this charger and if so where can I get a good one and how do they work? Is it plugged in between the charger and pack? Thanks, Jeremy

Yes you'll need a balancer as the 989 doesn't have one built in. I would look at the LBA-10 that we carry you can use it in stand alone mode by its self or hook it up to the charger and balance charge.
