Default Merlin 140 mounting options

While I do like the grooves in the case to contain the stock jetsMunt mounting rings, I am wondering if the M140 can be installed with the jetcat straps like these?

http://dreamworksrc.com/catalog/turb...rge-p-291.html

Basically, I'm looking to install it in a bypass previously set up for a P120 that has the mounts at 2 o'clock and 10 o'clock.

Thanks!

Providing all is centered to the thrust tube, it wouldn't matter what straps are used....

Thanks, that's what I was hoping. My other option was to leave the straps in the grooves and machine new mounting brackets to span the straps.

Btw, do you have this turbine? How do you like it? Looks to have the best power to weight ratio on the market, wonder when the new version will be available?

I have a merlin 90 as well as a merlin 160 MKII
Great turbines, I had them dyno'd by Todd at dreamworks, the 90 puts out 21.5 lb thrust & the 160 is pumping out a killer 41 lb thrust.

I have a M90 and a M140 and am very happy with them. The kero start worksgreat, fast throttle response and good fuel consumption. Also Gaspar is great to work withif you have any questions. The M140X is suppose tocome out in early 2013, but you know how that goes. Hopefullyit'll be here by June.
