Default I can't get the Failsafe to work on my 140 XBL

I had a good flight on my Rookie with the Merlin 140 XBL, the turbine ECU was calibrated and ran well.

The only problem is when we were testing the failsafe delay (2 seconds) the turbine would instantly shut off when we turned off the radio.
The radio is a FUTABA 18

The throttle travel was set at 100% travel as per the manual. The failsafe was set at 125.

I use a switch to turn off the turbine.

Any ideas?

Thank You

Hi

It sounds still too small travel to me. I can not help you that much with T18Z but on my T12FG failsafe position is set to -135, normal shut down is -115 and idle -90. It works just as promised. Hope this helps.
