Default Merlin 160 PROBLEM

When throttling up my Merlin 160 mk1, it sometimes flamesout, resulting in a stopped turbine and a cloud of smoke coming from the Tail cone.

The ECU reads Flameout.

I have set up the ECU/Tx as per the manual, yet it still flamesout.

I tried increasing the Acc delay figure, it was set at 17, and we incresed it to 25, but it still flamesout, with always a cloud of smoke.

The Turbine does reach max rpm.

ANY IDEAS?????

Thanks

Peter

goldcoast.

we seemed to have resolved this problem.

It appeared the Pump was "sticking", we ran the pump for 30 mins, using a 4 volt supply and connectd up to a external fuel supply.

So far so good, no more flameouts!!!!

Regards

Peter
