Jets Munt 70 xbl issues
data log shows low idle shutdown and data terminal reads 40.000 rpm. flying if you roll inverted the motor immediately
shuts down. We replaced all the fuel tubing and watched for air bubbles ground testing and there is none. Turbine is installed in a BVM Electra with bvm turbine upgrade package. At a loss for cause of problems, Suggestions for troubleshooting ? |

Does Xicoy handle all of their electronic repairs? No explanation given, Turbine is discontinued and I believe Gaspar designed it. Possibly Xicoy has the parts to repair. From what I heard Jets Munt is servicing their own new released turbines. Waiting for quote for shipping cost from Xicoy |
Be careful dealing with Jet Munt it seem they don't have a usa service center currently, I sent sent a turbine to Spain and they charged me and claimed to fix but did not and they are not motivated
to make it right. |
Jet Munt dont fix XBL 70. I sent mine to Gaspar and they repair and service mine.

but the small XBL 70 its only Gaspar who can service them ..other Jet Munt not
maybe they change policy not sure |
I just received back from Gaspar my JM70 that was a train wreck, serviced without issue. Thanks to Gaspar I still have a JM70 otherwise it would have been a paper weight. I have an email from Gaspar stating that he can only service the JM70 and not any other JM products.
As for service in the US I just had two XBL 100’s serviced for 25 hours by Jets Munt Americas in California. I had to get approved from JM Spain to do this and make sure that JM Americas had the time due to JM Americas limiting the service that is performed in the US due to Pablos personal reasons. Robert |
