Default Servo/Solenoid for parachute system

I've been looking into building some water rockets over the summer, and I've decided against mechanical timers or pressure systems for the parachuting system. I'd like to use an RC servo or solenoid mechanism to release the chute...but I'm having a lot of trouble finding a decent one for a low price. Does anyone have any recommendations for the ~$20 range? It really only needs to have a single channel for the release, but 2 would be cool so I could have a radio-controlled launch (but getting the PWM signal that clean might be an issue...but we'll see).
