cbaker65,

I absolutely love what you have made here. I'm about 2 weeks into the hobby and already have plans to build my own from scratch like you have done. Please share some details. Any other pics you can post? Maybe of your work in progress? I plan to build a 1/10 scale buggy based off of the Dromida DB4.18BL. What did you use for under carriage?

I'm sorry about the long wait!

Back about 7 or 8 years ago ,e-bay was an awesome place to get good parts cheap. Now its went down hill.
This truck was totally on used parts that I accumulated from the all the parts that I collected to replace on my
basher other than the few aftermarket aluminum parts like the body post & hardcore bumper brackets ,which
those came upon auction real cheap as well.

That is how the truck currently looks now ,it took a few years for it to look that way ,however ,I did rob the rear knuckles
off of it to put on my basher ,I have to clean the iodine blue off the aluminum ones that I have an put on it.
Those are nice to have ,an don't break when bashing ,but they ate the heck out of wheel bearings!

When I first built it ,it was only ran once for test run ,then was put on a shelf an never ran again.
It needs the knuckles put back on & a o-way bearing put back in the engine as I robbed it out for my 5.9 engine
on my basher to run.
The axial 28 shares the same internal o-way starter bearing.

So its a just basicly a stock truck other than the bumper braces ,body post, tires & wheels ,engine an the robinson spur gear, rollcage.
Oh yea,Integy motor mount.
The rest is just cosmetic paint...

THNXS.
