977 doesn't recognize lipo's.
Hello,
I have a 977 that I have been trying to charge a 2 cell E-flight lipo on. I've tried a couple of other lipo's to see if they show up on the voltage screen but no luck. Where exactly on the screen does it say that it recognizes that you have plugged in a lipo battery?
Thank you.

RE: 977 doesn't recognize lipo's.
First off, it should show the voltage of the battery on the screen. Then hit the "Display Select" button once to the show the amperage. Enter in a 1C charge rate, or 1 X Capacity (Ex. 1100 mah battery, charge at 1.1 amps). The hit the "Display Select" button again to show the # of cells in the pack. Enter in the correct number of cells for the battery. From here I would hit the start button, if the voltage in the battery is correct and the cell count is right, then the word "LiPO" should come up on the screen.

Worked like a charm! I was looking for the word lipo to show up before I hit start which it didn't. I did like you said and it came up in bold letters which makes me feel better!
Thanks again!!!
