1/25 scale boeing 747
Hi
I need help. For the past few years I have been building several large boeing models a 737-800 a 767-300 and a 747-400 all at 1/25 scale. The 747 is 2.828 metres long and looks very impressive. I am stuck on the wing design as I understand that if I build this true to scale it will not fly very well. I will mold this model when finished and make up several out of carbon fibre and fibre glass they will be powered by EDF engines. Any help on the airfoil shape which I want to keep as close as possible to the true scale.Anyone out there that has flow models this big and has experienced problems. I am keen to hear your views and advice.
Thanks for your time
Keith
