I charged a brand new stick pack of Venom Racing 4600mah cells. Went to use it for a roto starter on a truck and it lasted about 30 seconds before dying. I went back to the 989 to check the settings I used.
This is what I used:
Type: Nimh # of cells: 6, mAh: 4600, AMP: 6, Cut off Peak mV 6, Trickle: 0.10
I'm not using the temp sensor so that's not cutting off the battery.
Any thoughts as to why my battery is not getting a full charge?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Ezi

It would bve hard to say why it didn't charge fully. The battery may have been sitting for a while before you got it. Try doing a few cycles on it in "auto cycle" mode. Use a 4.6 amp charge and discharge rate with a delay of 20 minutes between cycles. Go back and check how much capacity goes in and out and see if there is any improvement.
