I lost a motor,but didn't crash!
After flying my 350QX,Traxxas Alias,Flame wheel 450,I decided to try flying a Tricopter! Man,what a eye opener!
First off let me say the Tri will do anything my quads will do,and do it with more precision!
I built a Tricopter from a kit I purchased at simplecopter.com. The Owner Matt Hall was very helpful in picking out the components need to get it all together. It is a Simple build,and is designed to take a crash,with very little damage! My trusty old 350 QX is gathering dust now! LOL! Here's a short video of it on it's first flight,getting trimmed out. It took very little to get it flying straight as a arrow. The video isn't very good! LOL! Ron http://vimeo.com/92415869
