Default Dji Phantom 2: WARNING Beware of Auto Go Home Feature!

If you have updated your Dji Phantom 2 software and enabled this cool new feature it may be a good idea to think twice about it and beware of what it can do. Please watch the video for details before you fly. Hope this helps!

Why wouldn't it calculate the same return path as flight path? Return exactly the way it got there. Great feature dumb way they implement it

The thing is that he was under a tree when it hit the low voltage warning. That's not really the fault of the design. But it's also something I would want to be able to shut off when I'm flying indoors or under things. Normally once RTH is initiated most quads will rise about thirty feet or so to clear any ground obstacles on the way back. Unfortunately it doesn't sense being under something like a tree or some structure before coming back.
