Lightbulb Build-report: scratchbuild circular quadcopter..

Hi there people!


I've been wanting to scratch-build a quad for quite a while now.. Partly to show others it's not hard to do and/or expensive.. After a while I had some ideas for the quad, and tonight I got the project started

and.. there it is. the first progress report in this project
The frame has been finished.. The motors have been mounted
The rest of tis video is mainly about my choice to make this quad have dihedral.. the why of that...

A quick-short update today! The ESC's aren't in yet, regretably.. But I did manage to get some other work done on the quad.. Mainly in the looks department

Got some stick-time with this scratchbuild quadcopter in today as well
It actually flies quite nice! Though I will need to make the setup respond a bit more agressively..

Hi there people
So.. this circular quadcopter lost it's wings, or electronics rather to the Foamboard copter I build after this one.. I did want it to fly again though, so I ordered some new electronics for it
