Default Blade 350 QX 3

I was wondering if you have to do the compass calibration procedure before every flight with the new blade 350 QX3?

You should not have to recalibrate every time you fly. If you were to travel a long ways from home, it might be beneficial though. I had the 1st generation 350QX and only calibrated once and never bothered with it again.

As long as you don't go too far from where you last calibrated the compass, it should be fine. If you travel very far (over 100 miles?) then a good idea to recalibrate before flying. Magnetic declination can vary a surprising amount, and the calibration tells the controller how to integrate the compass with the GPS position data. Better to calibrate more than you need, IMO...
