Default Self Tightening CW & CCW Props

I purchased the HK S500 quad kit. Put it all together and powered it up using a CC3D FC and it would NOT lift off the ground. It had NO apparent power. After a rethinking and rebooting the software and changing to the QQ FC board the same thing happened. I started to think perhaps the props were on incorrectly. I was thinking the CW self tightening prop should go on the CW rotating motor...... I decided to switch things around. I put the CW self tightening prop (9443) on the CCW rotating motor and the CCW self tightening prop (9443R) on the CW rotating motor. The quad now appears to have more than enough power to lift off the ground..... but won't this configuration cause the props to spin off the motor shafts? What am I missing?
