Default MVVS 26IFS Fuel tank location

I'm mounting two MVVS 26 gas engines in the nacelles of my Palmer OV10. I thought I had everything planned out for mounting the fuel tanks and ignition system but after mounting the scale landing gear, I don't have room for much more than a 10-12 ounce tank. And that will be tight. I have plenty of room in the fuselage. Can I mount two tanks in the fuselage and get proper fuel draw. I will be pulling gas from about 24-30 inches away from the carbs.

Your thoughts???

Gaines

Gains,

Gas engines of this size will consume about half as much fuel as their glow counterpart.
...And the glow version of this engine uses about 1 ounce a minute...

For a 10-12 minute flight, 8 ounces should do it, but I would use 12 just to be sure.

And, Gains, The Walbro carburettor this engine has is equipped with its own pump.

You could theoretically put the tank in the horizontal stabilizer and it will still run well...

Why not use a single larger tank? One quart would be good enough for two or three flights.

Would you recommend two clunks in the single tank? I have plenty of room in the fuselage for any size or combination of tanks.

I would prefer two clunks, tied together over a T-fitting, so each engine has it's own submerged fuel intake. With a T-fitting, a leak or air in one line would cause troubled fuel draw for both engines.

Great. That's the way I will go. will save me a lot of plumbing with just one tank.
