Default Crankcase fitting and Carb question

I'm finally getting around to setting my MVVS 1.6 motor up in a plane. I replaced the line between the carb and crank case. However, when I went to remove the line from the fitting attached to the crank case the fitting broke. What size is this pressure fitting and where can I find some more?

Also, if I flipped the carb 180 degrees the throttle arms would be easier for me to get to. Right now, they are on the same side as the muffler mount. Would it hurt anything to flip the carb all the way around to make the throttle arms on the side opposite the muffler? I plan to install a velocity stack as well if that makes a difference.

Thanks again for your help and great support.

Kevin

Thanks for the info on the pressure fitting. Any thoughts on turning the carb 180 degrees to change the throttle arm positions? I can post a picture of the modified arms?

Kevin,

It will work with no adverse affects.

Just make sure the arm is re-angled, so it will not risk a prop-hit.
