Erik,

The #3247 is the GRRT/GRFT pipe and is intended for higher RPM than the #3246 tuned silencer, dedicated to the Quickie engine.

You would need to extend the #3247 with the #3261 header to achieve the lower RPM power, but it will be higher than with the #3246.
But only you will have to decide which one to use.

The rear-exhaust configuration will not work on the Quickie engine.
This is from my own experience, shared by the MVVS head engineer Josef Svajda.

Thanks Dar

So iff i understand it correctly the #3247 will work on this engine in combination with the #3261 header and i will get more rpm then with the # 3246 correct?

Erik,
The quickie cylinder is full of surprises.
With the right setup it has no problem to turn about 28000 rpm on tuned pipes and even rear exhaust system.
These data come from an old GRR engine equipped with new quickie cylinder/conrod sets and lowered primary crankcase compression, which was a surprise. Oil content for sprint action was as low as 10%. After a season, the engine was spotlessly inside.
It all depends on how much you plan to invest in time and experiment to get the rig set up just right. It also depends upon operating time, like sprint or pylon, or just goosing around

the plan was too put it on a delta just for fun but wanted it a bit faster then with just a normal engine but not too expensive so i thought the .40 Q was a good option to try.

I`m hoping too get some nice speed out of it
P.S. what kind off prop range can i be using?

an 8x5 will probably be a nice start.
BTW, The 3247 pipe has a connection made for a rear exit manifold with silicone rings. This has to be sawn off when you want to use the pipe in combination with the 3261 header.

Today when i got home from work my box off engines and stuff was waiting for me so i just broke in the quikie with the 3247 pipe and after break in I tuned it in a bit sounded impressive but don`t have any rpm readings yet because there was no daylight but so far i`m very pleased about MVVS and about how fast you send things too people Pe last time i ordered a pipe for a 26cc gasoline was also here in just one day.

A very happy customer
