Problem with carb on MVVS 58
Hi my problem is at the first start of a day.
The engine doesn't start because too much fuel entries in the cylinder. But I've tryed even with out choke. I dont know what to do because after hours of work the engine starts and works prefectly with an awsome performance. I know the setting in High and Low valve are ok because the engine works ok but only when it starts. The engine is brand new I've made only about 15 flights. Please help me. |

RE: Problem with carb on MVVS 58
Leo,
Is it possible the fuel needle (position regulated by the metering diaphragm) is sticking open, i.e. not fully closing because of a piece of dirt, or a burr/regularity? Or maybe the rubber seal at the end of the needle is damaged, or missing? If so, the low end could become so rich that the engine becomes flooded. |

yes, you will have to take the carb apart.
Look[link=http://prme.nl/forum/viewtopic.php?t=10]here[/link] for manuals etc. |

Thanks for all the pictures you posted
When you see this kind of contamination in the carb filter, check out your complete fueling system and ask yourself: "how dit the dirt get in there??" use a felt clunk filter do not use a fueling "T" in the fuel draw line, but use a dedicated fill line. Your problems will then be over, forever!. |
