Hey guys, I called nitro planes, and they wernt too helpful. This plane is discontinued, and I guess they have no manuals available. Does anyone know the suggested CG for this plane? Or anthing that will get me close to it? Thanks for any help.

do you have your owner's manual? it says 145 to 150mm from leading edge. give me your email and I'll send you a copy.

and no, I've had the plane sitting in its ARF stage for awile(it is since discontinued) and I lost the manual. I called the support number on nitroplanes.com and the guy said they didnt have record of it.


Thanks for the info though, will settle my nerves alot for the maiden flight. Hopefully this weekend!

My brother is in the same boat. A local hobby shop gave him the model for client loyalty but there is no manual. Does anyone out there have a manual or know where to get one?

As with most ARF's start with the C.G. at 25% of the wing chord length at the LE of the wing at the root.

The plane flies fine this way. You can move it slowly back for better response after you've determined how you like to fly it.

CMP planes are similiarly built so you can merely use the manual for a more recent model as a guideline.

Sorry to let you in on this little secret on this plane. I have the same plane and put a fpe 2.4 on it to ballance it without adding nose weight. I moved the rudder to the middle to help. The fuse will not support the weight needed on the landing gear. I'll check my manual and check your cg for you. I'm not promising anything but I seem to recall it was somewhere in the neighborhood of 3 3/4 back from the leading edge I remember it being tricky. If I can't find the cg i'll just measure back to my cg lines I had marked on my wing. If you all are interested I have a wing, canopy for it. The firewall is out of the fuse as of last saturday. Beautiful plane though.
