Newbie, Question about radio/servo
I'm building a plane with my daughter. It's a Goldberg Tiger 60. Neither i nor she have any experience with building or flying planes. I purchased the FMS simulator and i'm starting to get the hang of it.
Question 1: setting up the sticks: I want to do it in a way the follows whatever is standard convention.... So which functions get assigned to which controls? I notice that when going through the set up there are 2 check boxes next to each of mapping/channel lines. it appears that the "inv" will reverse the action of the sticks ( left becomes right, up becomes down) is this correct? what does the "exp" line box do?
Question 2: It looks like the "exceed rc" is a good value and i'm considering purchasing that system for our plane. Would this be suitable? what would i then want to get for servos?
thanks for any help
Peter

Re: Question 1
Set things up for standard mode 2 TX's and you should be fine.
Re: Question 2
Exceed makes ARF's etc.
What are you looking at?
How about a link?

RE: Newbie, Question about radio/servo
This radio is good because it allow you to setup between mode 1 or 2.
mode 2, USA mode
left joystick up and down: Throttle
left joystick left and right: rudder
right joystick up and down: elevator
right joystick left and right: alieron
I'm sure your tiger 60 ask for standard servo which is 36G. MG995 is not good choice as servos.
