NOT!: missing file for sim-need help!!!!!!!!!

hi everyone,
i just got a sim,loaded the disc that came with it,succesfully. I am running windows vista, it keeps coming up missing d3drm.dll. my computer tried to find it,and came back
can not locate file,can anyone help me with problem,I'm totally lost. the sin is E SKY

That file is not part of the sim. Nor does it have anything to do with it directly.
Download the Microsoft Directx9 redistributable ( 9.0c ).
Run it on your computer. It will NOT harm your DirectX10 installation, but it will install the missing DX9 file.
Reboot.
Now try the sim.

Actually doing as I said is better, as it prevents damage to the existing DX10 setup.
Though that thread has a fantastic set of instructions on setting up FMS.
