Should I buy the Exeed r/c 2.4 ghz TX?
On a budget here and I am looking for a reliable radio system to use with some 3D foamies and most importantly my GWS slowstick. Is this radio suitable for this sort of thing?

The one I have is on my Slow stick right now.
Xheli sells it with one of their RTF helis.
If you get more Rx's later on, you can use a PC to load a different file.
A PC with USB port is required to program it.
More info here:

For an airplane, you would program a switch for dual rates if you wanted.
There is no expo function on this radio.
There are three programmable mixes.
YOu can enable those mixes as always on or enabled with one of the 2 switches.
