Cap 232 15
I recently was given an OS MAX .20 FP by a neighbor who saw I dot this R/C thing and low and behold the darn thing runs like new. So you guessed it, I'm stuck having to buy a new plane. I was looking at the Cap 232 15 offered by nitro planes or even one of the small Cubs as a noisy park flyer:D Does anyone have any experience with these planes and could you tell me what you think.
Here is the Cap: http://www.nitroplanes.com/cap232arfnig.html and the Cub: http://www.nitroplanes.com/furedj3picub.html |
RE: Cap 232 15
I have no experience with either, but I would think that the Cap would be a lot more fun to throw around the sky with that engine.

RE: Cap 232 15
Its fun, more sport type flying, by no means 3D. I only flew it twice really just getting used to it. The smallest i've flown. It scoots along witha OS .15. The winter WX started so it hasn't flown since. I'm sure i will have more to tell when it warms up. I am currently building a showtime so i probably will be flying that more. I would like to buy a larger scale Cap, but this one was cheap.

RE: Cap 232 15
Flew mine again couple times the other day, was having problems with it violently rolling left and right, assumed it may have been frequency interference, i have a spektrum dx7, so i put an AR7000 receiver in it, haven't flown it since, weather sucks. I also wait for no wind, until i get comfortable, it weighs 2.2 lbs, CG at 2 inches (right in the middle of the recommended) from leading edge against the fuse, with OS.15, and it is very fast, low rates until you get used to it in no wind or you will probably crash, i almost lost it a coulple times! Anyone else flying this? What has been your experience?
