RE: Bad Super Stearman
You may find it to be overly sensitive if you are not using Expo.
On the other hand you sound like you are used to this and like high response. Just bear in mind that with the short tail, it can pitch up rather quickly and stall, so work your way up to your desired rate so as not to make the same mistake I made. |
RE: Bad Super Stearman
No problem, I rarely fly anything but short coupled biplanes, and I usually fly just barely above tip stall speed, and add a little throttle for the turns so I can maintain the same altitude.
I rarely fly over half throttle... |
RE: Bad Super Stearman
ORIGINAL: freeonthree Is that what their called ? Interplane struts ? I thought they were cabane struts. Or is both correct ? I also heard Cabin Struts before... Cabane struts are the struts on the fuselage top that fasten to the top wing at its center. The interplane struts are the ones near the wingtips. No such thing as 'cabin struts'. Probably just someone who was unfamiliar with the term 'cabane'. Rick |
RE: Bad Super Stearman
Oh, ok... well, he had the cabane struts switched Left/right side. The interplane struts I thought were just wing struts. I learned something new today ! Thanks !
