RE: bobcat 50 paint
Heh, there was a whole thread on this subject, and the consensus is that it's pointless to worry about the lead in the paint, when glow fuel is so MUCH more poisonous...
In any event, there is very little paint used on the Bobcat. It uses a plasticized covering that is heat shrunk onto the frame. The portion that is painted is the fuselage, which has a clear covering applied over it. Even if lead is present, it would be so in minescule amounts and not redily exposed to ingestion. The other thread on lead in RC models goes into far more details, but basically don't worry about it. |

After I started flying airplanes and getting nitro fuel on my hands, The wart on my thumb went away! I tried everything over the counter but that nitro fuel removed that wart within a few weeks!

solution : don't chew on your airplane or let the kids eat it
