Hi I am a retreaded model builder from some time ago. My problem is I was given a NitroModel P-38 Lightning, for Christmas and there is no assembly instructions in the box. I have tryed to contact Nitro about this but they cant help me becouse I dont have any order info. I am hoping that some one out there has built this kit and has the instructions and would share them with me. Thanks [email protected]

RE: manual

This manual for the P-38 51.5" is a waste of paper. This is a complicated plane! The manual has essentialy 5 pages of instructions. It doesn't even begin to describe issues that are to define the building of this plane. Why is there not an option for rudders? How exactly are the mass balancers on the elevator reproduced? There are no pictures or descriptions of the dowel rods that are used to hold the front of the wings in place. Why does one of my elevator push-rods come out of the side of one of the fuselages, and the other come out of the bottom? Which fuselage goes on which side? They are angled, and there is no guidance. Please tell me there is a more complete manual, or some online instructions or something. Thank you:

can you email me a pdf of the better manual for the p38 52 inch model? The model looks fairly straightforward and Ican probably build it with what they call a manual that was included, but if the better one is available I'd love to have a copy.

Thanks!

RE: manual

The Kit doesn't come with the manual as the only existing manual is for the RTF version.

Really the only thing you need is the C.G. which I can look up for you on the RTF manual.
I'll post this later.

The build is very straight forward if you've put together similiar planes before.

Can you provide photos of the landing gear on the RTF? Thanks

Would you please send me a copy of the manual for the zlin EP (90A196_ARF_ElectricZlinEP). I've got one on order (yhst-17210252890263-95207) and would like to make sure I've got everything I need to get started with the build as soon as it arrives. If you have it electronically, please send it to [email protected].

Thank you,

Paul
