Exceed RC Rx question
John, or whoever can answer this, I would greatly appreciate it....I bought the 70mm F/A-18 and it came with that standard 72mhz reciever. I swapped it out with a spektrum...yadda yadda yadda. I want to put this reciever in another plane I have, just wanted to know which plu in was for which channel? This might be a horrid question, since my hunch is that all recievers are universal in channel matchups. Thank you for your time...

Re: matchups
No, they differ sometimes greatly. Your best bet is to plug a loose servo into the receiver and a battery on the highest channel. Then power up the TX and see which stick moves the servo. Once you've determined that, move the servo to the next port. You can do this with the RX powered up, as long as you do not reverse the orientation of the connector. I do this all the time. |
RE: Exceed RC Rx question
Ch 3 is throttle for sure, ch4 is rudder. If your new plane's ESC doesn't have BEC then you must attach a bec to the B channel on the receiver.
Chan 1 is alieron and ch 2 is elevator. You might have to make changes on the radio's to reverse some of the channel for your new plane. The switches are located in front of the radio. John Nitro Planes |

RE: Exceed RC Rx question
Are you using it with the original TX or another one?
If another, which one? |
