If the guys at nitroplanes are listening... the websites for Nitroplanes.com, Partz and Xheli are down 1.

I can ping but html is blocked.

Hmm... I didn't see it down myself and I was on there looking something up just before the time you posted your message.

I'm speculating:

I've seen Microsoft's Internet Explorer sometimes keep connections open to web pages even after it has closed out.

"Netstat -n" in a dos propt will reveal these links.

Since Windows has a limited number of permissable HTML connections, this can make a remote site seem to be down when it is not.

Typically if you wait for Windows to drop the connects ( about 5-9 minutes at worst ) then opening a new copy of the browser will allow you to see the site.


Also temporary routing problems may have been to blame.

there was problem with yahoo and they fixed the issue.
