CG for Nitro Planes Cessna 310???
I've been building for many years and in my experience the CG is usually between 25-30% back from the leading edge. In this model, it is telling me the CG should be about 42%. It seems to me this is to far back. Has anyone flown the Nitro Planes Cessna 310 (88.6 wing span)? And if so did you have the CG where they said or did you modify it? I would hate to fly with the wrong balance and loose the plane right away!! Thanks for any help!

RE: CG for Nitro Planes Cessna 310???
Go with your experience!
If the C.G. is too far forward, the plane will still fly... but too far back... you know how it goes... not well. You could always adjust the C.G. back incrementally based upon your test flights... |
RE: CG for Nitro Planes Cessna 310???
I Have This Planes Setup As Eletric With (2) Power .60 Motors And Each One Takes A 6 Cell Battery Pack. I Used The Books CG Putting My Battery's In The Nose Of The Plane It Fly's Fine.
How Are You Setting Your Up Gas Or Electric? If Gas I Would Imagine You'll Need To Add Weight To The Nose. |
