Blue Lipo 1300
Hello! I recently bought a dynam extra 330.. and in one of the drop down menues there was an option for an addition battery. I selected the option of the blue lipo 1300 mah battery, which was available at the time. I recieved the battery, but it does not have the correct connecter to connect it to my airplane. What do i need in order to connect this battery to the plane.. The connector for the airplane is a small two pin type...and the new battery has larger circular leads. Thanks for you help

RE: Blue Lipo 1300
Basically you wire up your own connector or adaptor as you see fit.
I tend to make myself an adapter for each battery connector. This results in a small box full of adapters, but the advantage is that I only have to make ONE ( or two ) for each battery brand or type. |

Ok, thank you.. Can you point me in the right direction as to what I need in order to make the adapter?

RE: Blue Lipo 1300
Sure...
You'll need something like this.... [link=http://www.hobbycity.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=10255]Bullet Connectors - Click me![/link] Just make sure you obtain the correct gender for the JST ( small red ) connectors, and that you get the right SIZE of the Bullet connectors, as they come in various sizes. I BELIEVE that pack uses the 3.5mm but I am not sure. You'll also need a bit of heat shrink tubing, solder and an 25w iron. |
