Default 61 FSR carb

I have an 61 FSR with an 7D carb. Will this work, or will it give me some trouble,

We'd like to help you, but we're not sure what you are asking about. The O.S. Max #7D carburetor is intended for the 1.08 FSR, so the bore may be too large to allow the engine to have adequate fuel draw. If you can deliver enough fuel to the carb, it will probably be OK.

Cbastian,

I have a .61FSR with that carb, it works fine. BUT! putting it along side a 7DV carb from another .61FSR (original carb for that engine), I can see a reducer ring in the 7D carb throat which reduces the size to the same as the 7DV one.

As Bax said, try it, can't hurt to try on a test stand.

Later!
