Default 120 Surpass II running lean and needle valve screwed all the way out!?

My OS Surpass II is running lean at high RPM and the needle valve is turned as far out as is possible without it falling out.
This engine is a pumped engine and even though it s pre 97, is new (never run)!
I have installed all large diameter tubing. Allthough I am running a large diameter flex tube exhaust.

What gives? and if I send it back for repairs....what is the average turn around??

If your O.S. Max FS-120 Surpass w/pump is running lean with the needle almost all the way out, then either the pump's just not working, the regulator's not working, or there's trash somewhere in the carb.

On your engine, a bad pump means you'll need a new pump, and a bad regulator means you'll need a new carburetor body...the regulator is not available as a separate item.

Trash in the carb just means it needs to be disassembled and cleaned.

If you send it to us, we'll be glad to look at the engine to see how we can help you.
