Default 61 FX Bearing Replacement

Hi Bill,
so I heard a Ball skidding around in the rear bearing in my 61FX.
this engine has about 7 gallons run threw it and it's compression is very-very good. so I took the engine apart and the Piston and Liner is in great shape,

since the Piston and Liner is in good shape, would it be a normal practice to replace just the bearings in this engine, with this many gallons run threw it ??

thank you Bill !
Jim

With any amount of fuel run through an engine, you replace only the parts that need it. If the piston/cylinder fit is good, you don't need to replace it at all. If all you need is a new bearing, then just replace the bearing.
