Help. I was attempting to carefully brake in my engine yesterday, it was relatively warm, and the engine wouldn't hold a steady needle valve setting. I think the RN contributes to this problem. Bubbles in the fuel line from the needle valve and the carb. I did add fuel tubing to the needle valve to eliminate that possible air leak area.
Question. Can I convert my engine back to a front needle valve?

You'll have to buy the older carburetor to get the front-needle version. Here's the stock number and suggested retail price:
