Default 90FS Ring Gap

Hi Bax,
I'm fitting a new piston ring to a hardly used 90FS (OS part no 45403400 suits 90FS, 91FS, 160FT, 320FF). The new ring appears to have no gap - I haven't got the equipment to measure it. Do I need to set the ring gap on a genuine OS part? To what gap?
Thanks
Arthur

If the ring's the correct one for your engine, then don't worry about the ring gap. It will take care of itself. Unfortunately, we don't have a number for you, since we never have had to be concerned about it. We just install the O.S. part for the engine and it's all OK.
